We realize this is a tad self-aggrandizing, but we couldn’t resist sharing this. We are huuuuge fans of The Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale, which occurred this year in six continents. Our Hen House teamed up with Kind Green Planet and hosted our own sale, which raised nearly $500 to support our advocacy efforts. And today, CNN.com did an absolutely amazing piece covering the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale.
While we’re simply giddy about our prominent coverage in the piece, we are nothing short of ecstatic by the positive overall coverage of the bake sales in this article. What Gary Loewenthal has created is a compassionate cupcake movement, and he has attracted the attention of huge mainstream press. Ah, the power of a cupcake…
